I have to say I am impressed with how well the Folkart Colorshift paint worked on this background… I didn’t want a perfect stencilled background, I didn’t even tape the stencil down lol. I actually expected a little bleed since I was stenciling with a piece of car sponge and no tacky on my stencil… but it was surprisingly clean.
I usually use my colorshift paint on solid objects, but wanted to try it on some card and I am so glad I did. I am pretty sure this is going to end up as a framed art piece with the digital stamp from KennyK below. I am still working on a bit of detailing etc, but so far I am loving how this is going.
It is definitely one of those projects you just have to try for yourself to really appreciate it. Pictures don’t do justice to the colorshift paints, although they do show the difference in colors quite well… I will try and get better ones when I post the final project.
Let’s fly away!
I’m all packed… got my toothbrush, phone and purse.
