Last year Li’l Man D and I decided the tree theme was going to be ..anything handmade. We couldn’t decide on a theme… so that one allowed us to make anything we wanted. The previous year we had bought a new tree, a black one… and it was kitted out with hand made Pokemon themed ornaments. At some point I may do a tutorial/post on those for anyone who is, or has a Pokemon lover in the family.
This past Christmas was fun, I started to teach Li’lManD how to sew, now bear in mind he is an 8 year old boy and sewing is something new to him..add in the fact that it’s been about 30 years since I sewed anything more than a button on haha. But we made some cute little felt Christmas Puddings, steampunk inspired ornaments, star wars etc.
We love that theme so much because it gave us free reign to do anything we wanted.. so 2021 is going to be another free reign theme.
We will be sharing Christmas projects throughout the year, so anyone who hates leaving everything till the last minute will have plenty of time to get crafting.
Li’lManD will be sharing some more felt projects throughout the year too as he is learning to sew and we have some fun Pokemon projects coming up.
