Christmas gift bag with Bugaboo Stamps Penguins

I am posting this one for Li’l Man because he is at school … and since he did the video last night and we have a busy craft schedule ahead of us tonight… he probably won’t have time to write much.

Li’l Man D had a last minute project to decorate a plain white gift bag for school.  They had to decorate it and  Mommy had to fill it with a drink, chips, candy and chocolate and a small gift for their Christmas party.  Covid has really hit the kids holiday events badly this year, but at least the few of them that have returned to school are able to participate in some Covid safe projects.  The kids all get their own goody bag back at the party so their is no risk of transferal, and there are prizes for the best decorated bags… unfortunately no gift exchanges either which is tough when they all want to do something cool for their buddies.

This project involved mommy  scoring two sheets of  Craft Smith 12×12  card to form a shell around said bag… we used the original bag like a liner. It took two sheets to encase the entire bag and make a firm bottom.

We cut snowflakes on the Big Shot, I would be lying if I said I could remember where the snowflake dies came from… but if I had to guess I would say they were Ebay imports.

**Now I do have to say.. this is printed on Canson Mix Media Paper and using an Epson Ecotank… I can’t say this technique will work with all printer inks.. so if you want to try this technique…you just have to experiment.

We will be adding this to the following challenges:
